About Me:
Welcome! My name is Zack Saunders, and I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in Indiana, a Certified Social Worker (CSW) in Kentucky, dedicated to helping individuals overcome life’s challenges with compassion, evidence-based care, and genuine respect for each person’s unique story.
I have worked in the mental health field since January 11, 2019, and have provided psychotherapy since July 5, 2022. I have been licensed as a Social Worker in Indiana since September 2022. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of supporting children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship difficulties, life transitions, emotional dysregulation, insomnia, suicidal thoughts, and other mental health concerns.
My approach is collaborative, practical, and goal-oriented. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can openly explore your experiences while developing effective skills for lasting change. Together, we will identify your strengths, clarify your goals, and build a treatment plan tailored to your needs.
I have specialized training in several evidence-based treatment approaches, including:
* Motivational Interviewing (MI)
* Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)
* Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Suicide Prevention (CBT-SP)
* Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
* Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and the Twelve Steps Group Facilitation
Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I integrate these methods based on your unique circumstances, values, and treatment goals. Whether you are working through trauma, learning healthier coping skills, improving sleep, increasing motivation, managing difficult emotions, or pursuing recovery, I will work alongside you to help you make meaningful progress.
Seeking therapy is a courageous step. My hope is that our work together empowers you to gain greater insight, develop practical skills, and move toward a life that reflects your values and the future you want to build. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing and growth.
